A1 Hibachi Party ("A1 Hibachi Party", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit a1hibachiparty.com, submit a quote request, or book a hibachi catering event, how we use it, and the choices you have about it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you give us so we can quote and deliver your hibachi event:

• Contact information — name, email, and phone number you provide in our quote form, booking form, lead form (including forms shown directly inside Google Search results), or when you call us.
• Event details — proposed event date, number of guests, event address, special requests or dietary needs.
• Payment information — collected through our payment processor only when you confirm a booking. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
• Standard web logs — IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages visited. We use this to keep the site working and to measure ad performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your quote request, confirm availability, and finalize your event.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups.
• To improve our website, menu, and service area based on aggregated, non-identifying patterns.
• To measure the effectiveness of Google Ads campaigns so we don't waste advertising budget.

3. Who We Share Information With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the following:

• Our hibachi chef and event team — so they can prepare and deliver your event.
• Service providers we rely on — payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend, Gmail), booking management (HibachiFinder), website hosting (Vercel), and ad measurement (Google Ads, Google Analytics). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and only process data on our behalf.
• Legal requests — only if required by law (court order, subpoena, etc.).

4. Google Ads & Lead Forms

When you click a Google Ads ad or fill out a Lead Form Asset shown in Google search results, Google may pass us the information you provided in the form (name, email, phone, event date, guest count) so we can follow up with you. Google's handling of this information is also subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

We use Google's conversion measurement to understand which ads bring real customers. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to advertisers other than us.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for site functionality and ad measurement. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features (like remembering form fields) may stop working.

6. Data Retention

We keep your booking and contact information for as long as we have an active business relationship with you, plus a reasonable period to comply with tax and legal recordkeeping requirements (typically 7 years for payment records). Marketing leads that did not become bookings are deleted within 24 months.

7. Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See the information we have on file about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete your information (subject to tax/legal retention requirements above).
• Stop receiving marketing emails.

8. Children

Our services are for adults booking events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. We will not retroactively use your information in ways that conflict with the policy in effect when you provided it.

If you provide your phone number (in our website chat, on our booking form, or by calling/texting us first), you consent to receive booking-related text messages from A1 Hibachi Party — quotes you requested, booking confirmations, payment links, event reminders, and follow-ups on your inquiry.
